§ 74-176. Finding of fact.

  • The following findings of fact are applicable to the provisions of this article:

    (1)

    F.S. § 163.3202(2)(4) requires that local governments adopt land development regulations that ensure protection of environmentally sensitive lands designated in the comprehensive plan within one year after submission of its revised comprehensive plan;

    (2)

    Local land development regulations shall contain specific and detailed provisions necessary or desirable to implement the adopted comprehensive plan;

    (3)

    The town Council finds that historic development practices have intruded upon wetlands within the town limits; and

    (4)

    The town council held public hearings, accepted public comment, made revisions, and found this article to be consistent with and further the intent of the Pomona Park Comprehensive Plan 2030.
